1. Students at Home: What are you doing to get through long days of sheltering at home? (get friend to take video footage of themself doing that thing)
2. What's the toughest thing about living through a pandemic (can be light or semi-serious)

Design a wide screen video window (still image with windows for video) in whatever graphics program you can with your computer, and send to me ASAP.
We're looking for a variety of graphics with them colors, graphic elements, WHS imagery (like Jaggie logo or archway).
The dimensions should be 1080 px x 1920 px. If you are using Photoshop 2019 CC, here is a document you can download with the right dimensions...

Coaching your respondents:
Keep it simple at first: bright light and still phone / computer
Stay close to the camera for sound and composition (going centered is okay right now; don't worry about rule of thirds)

Broadcast Journalism 2
Advanced Broadcast students will understand and teach the fundamentals and interrelationship of aperture, shutter speed and ISO, DSLR lens selection for various applications of video production. Advanced students will also organize the various elements of the student newsroom and the weekly video bulletin. They will direct the various members of a production team as they assume management roles (including managing producer, lead editor, executive producer, feature producer, sports news coordinator, special effects coordinator)
Advanced Broadcast students will understand and teach the fundamentals and interrelationship of aperture, shutter speed and ISO, DSLR lens selection for various applications of video production. Advanced students will also organize the various elements of the student newsroom and the weekly video bulletin. They will direct the various members of a production team as they assume management roles (including managing producer, lead editor, executive producer, feature producer, sports news coordinator, special effects coordinator)
Advanced Broadcast students will make up the Managing Editing staff
Advanced students will propose Special f/x enhancements to the overall video bulletin presentation and then oversee its production. Multiple layered effect animations will be emphasized.
Advanced students will extend their knowledge and practice of b-roll collection, as well as learn how to tape a show in the digital studio using mixer and switcher technology
Advanced students will lead class-wide assessment processes that evaluate the balance of information and entertainment, what kind of production serves an audience, inductively prepare best-practice rubrics in every production genre, and pre-produce year-end features which will showcase best practices.
